Q: Is there season parking available for students?

A: Yes, car & motorcycle season parking is available in the LKCSB carpark, during Term 1 & 2 of each academic year, for undergraduate students. However, due to limited parking lots in SMU, please note that all applications are subject to a Balloting Exercise.

A: Season parking is S$150.00 per month for cars, and S$21.00 per month for motorcycles. Please note that payment is for an entire term (e.g. 4 months).

A: In order to give equal opportunity to interested students, each purchase is limited to 5 day passes per transaction (subject to availability).

  Enrolment Letter and Academic Summary

*In light of the latest COVID-19 safe distancing measures, all requests for hardcopy certification letter and academic summary will be put on hold during this period. You may still request for a certified softcopy of the certification letter/academic summary. If you have any question, please email registrar@smu.edu.sg.

The certified enrolment certification letters are available in hardcopy or softcopy form. The certified academic summaries will continue to be available in hardcopy form only, as they are printed on special security paper.

  1. How to apply:

    Access OASIS and request for your copy of the enrolment letter and academic summary.

  2. Processing time:

    • Requests made before 4pm (documents will be available for collection after 2pm on the next working day)
    • Requests made after 4pm (documents will be available for collection after two working days)

  3. Collection

    Hardcopy documentsHardcopy documents have to be collected physically by students. Uncollected hardcopy documents will be discarded after 1 month.

    Please collect the requested hardcopy document(s) from the Student Services Hub.

    If you are unable to do so, you may email studentservices@smu.edu.sg to authorize a proxy. Please use your SMU email account. SMU reserves the right not to issue the requested hardcopy document(s) to the proxy if the authorization is not sent via your SMU email account.

    For postgraduate students, the requested hardcopy document(s) will be sent to your Programme Manager via internal mail. The respective Graduate Programme Office will inform you via your SMU email account once the hardcopy document(s) is/are ready for collection.

    Softcopy documentsFor students who have requested for enrolment certification letters in softcopy form, these will be available for download via the same request page. Softcopy certification letters will be digitally certified.

 Student Card Replacement

For lost student card, you will need to report a loss of your card to the Office of Campus Infrastructure and Services - Facility Management (email: fm@smu.edu.sg) and the SMU Library (email: library@smu.edu.sg) and apply for a new student card.

Upon the collection of your new card, please get the card encoded at the Security Command Center*. Your access to the various campus facilities will only be activated after the card is encoded.


  Undergraduate Concession Card

The Undergraduate Concession Cards are issued by TransitLink on behalf of ez-link Pte Ltd.

Only full-time matriculated SMU undergraduate students are eligible for the Undergraduate Concession Card.

You will only be able to apply for the card after you have completed your matriculation process. Please allow 3 -7 working days for your data to be transferred to Transitlink during the bulk application exercise.

For students applying for the undergraduate concession card after the bulk application exercise, you may apply for a concession card online or at any of the following TransitLink Concession Card Replacement Offices (CCRO):

  • Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange
  • Bukit Panjang Station*
  • Buona Vista MRT Station

 Endorsement of Forms

  1. For local undergraduates - CITREP Form Endorsement

    For students attending courses endorsed under CITREP+ (The Critical Infocomm Technology Resource Programme Plus).

    You may get your CITREP Form 1 endorsed at Student Services Hub (please see our revised operating hours) or email a pdf copy of your completed CITREP Form 1 to sshelps@smu.edu.sg for an e-endorsement.

    For hard copy endorsement at our centre, please remember to bring along your:

    • Student ID card
    • Completed CITREP Form 1
    • In Principle Approval Form (For endorsement request after the course has started)
  2. For international students

    Proof of Residency

    International students who would like to open a local bank account may request for a Proof of Residency from Student Services Hub.

    Note: Please ensure that your local residential address is updated on OASIS before making your request.

 Purchase of Season Parking/Preferential Parking/Carpark Day Passes

  1. Season Parking For Undergraduate Students (applicable for Cars & Motorcycles only)

    Registration Fee: S$175.00 /month (car), S$24.50 /month (motorcycle)

    Carpark Location: Only at SMU LKCSB Carpark, and no parking at RED lots

    Application Windows:

    • Term 1
    • Term 2

    Only SMU Undergraduates are eligible to apply for car/motorcycle season parking for Term 1 / 2 of each Academic Year.

    Please note that due to the limited parking lots in SMU, only 60 parking lots will be allocated to students and all applications are subject to a Balloting Exercise. Only successful applicants will be informed.

    All registrations are subject to the terms and conditions associated with the use of the SMU Carpark. Any violation of the parking terms and conditions will result in your season parking being revoked, without any refund.


    Updating of Vehicle Details (Modification)

    You are required to inform OCIS - Leasing Business immediately if there are any changes to your vehicle number, IU number or other information contained in your application form. Please submit your revised details via Update Vehicle Details.

    Please note that SMU shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you, which may arise from your failure to notify SMU of any changes or providing inaccurate vehicle information to SMU.

  2. Preferential Parking (applicable for Cars only)

    Preferential parking provides flexibility to the community who use our car park occasionally and for few hours a day. Preferential Parking Fee is fixed at a discount to the prevailing public car parking fees.

    The present preferential discount rate is 30%. SMU reserves the rights to revise the preferential rate and car park fees from time to time.

    Registration Fee: S$10.00 nett, non-refundable

    Carpark Location: Only at SMU LKCSB Carpark, and no parking at RED lots

    Application Windows:

    • Term 1
    • Term 2

    Please note that post-graduate students are to apply for preferential parking on OASIS via the "Car Park System" self-service app.

  3. Carpark Day Pass

*Please note that sale of ad-hoc carpark day passes at the Student Services Hub is NOT applicable to SMU Academy participants

The Carpark Day Pass is open to all matriculated SMU students, and is subject to availability.

Use of Day Pass:

  • One-time ticket that allows student to park in LKCSB carpark for a day at a fixed rate;
  • Day pass ticket is an exit ticket, and does not allow entry into carpark when full;
  • Day pass may be used on any day during the effective parking period;
  • NO refunds will be made for unutilised or expired Day pass;
  • For student’s personal use only. Resale of passes is strictly prohibited.

Each day pass costs S$12.00 nett, and can be purchased at the Student Services Hub.

Each student can purchase up to 5 day passes per day.

 Locker Rental

At SMU, locker facilities across the various Schools are made available to students to store their personal belongings while attending classes.

Students may arrange for a locker at the beginning of each semester.
