Q: Is there season parking available for students?

A: Yes, car & motorcycle season parking is available in the LKCSB carpark, during Term 1 & 2 of each academic year, for undergraduate students. However, due to limited parking lots in SMU, please note that all applications are subject to a Balloting Exercise.

Q: How much is season parking?

A: Season parking is S$150.00 per month for cars, and S$21.00 per month for motorcycles. Please note that payment is for an entire term (e.g. 4 months).

Q: When can I apply for season parking?

A: The application for season parking will open about 1 month before the start of a new academic term. The application link will be sent via email from SMU Student Services Hub.

Q: How can I apply for season parking?

A: A link to an application form will be sent via email from SMU Student Services Hub about a month before the start of the new academic term. Please note that due to limited parking lots in SMU, all applications will be subject to a Balloting Exercise.

Q: How can I update my vehicle details?

A: If there are any changes to your vehicle number, IU number or other information contained in your application form, please IMMEDIATELY submit your revised details via Update Vehicle Details.

Q: Can I pay for season parking on a per month basis?

A: No, a one-time payment for season parking is to be made for the entire term (e.g. 4 months).

Q: Will my season parking fees be pro-rated if I don’t apply for an entire team’s season parking?

A: Season parking is only available on a full-term basis (e.g. 4 months), and a one-time payment is to be made upon successful application for that term’s season parking.

Q: How can I make payment for season parking?

A: Payment is to be made at SMU Student Services Hub from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Q: How can I apply for Preferential Parking?

A: For Undergraduates, a link to an application form will be sent via email from SMU Student Services Hub about a month before the start of the new academic term.

Post-graduate students may apply for preferential parking with their respective programme managers.

Q: What is Preferential Parking?

A: Preferential Parking is a fixed discount rate of 30% to the prevailing public car parking fees. This is only available for cars, and applicable only at SMU LKCSB carpark.

Q: How can I pay for Preferential Parking?

A: Payment is to be made at SMU Student Services Hub from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Q: Is there a Preferential Parking for motorcycles?

A: No, preferential parking is not available for motorcycles.
